Frequently asked
Do my clients need to buy new hardware?
No. SolarSense is software-only — it ingests data from the datalogger / RMS already installed at the plant over MQTT. If the site already reports to a logger, you can be compliant in about two weeks.
Which inverters and loggers are supported?
16+ brands ship with certified Modbus register maps — Sungrow, Growatt, Solis, Deye, Sineng, SMA, Fronius, Huawei, GoodWe, ABB/FIMER, Delta, Schneider, KACO, REFUsol, TBEA, Hitachi — plus a generic driver for any SunSpec/Modbus-compliant device.
How does the MNRE compliance push work?
We map each plant's generation to the national-portal format and submit it daily, with automatic retry on failure and a full audit trail. A monthly compliance certificate is available to export. (Live submission requires your MNRE portal credentials.)
Is it multi-tenant and white-label?
Yes. Each solar company is an isolated tenant with its own users, branding and data; tenant isolation is enforced at the data layer. End customers get their own AMC-tiered app view.
Can it run on-prem or air-gapped?
Yes — the whole stack ships as Docker Compose and as an OVA appliance for DISCOM / government sites that require on-premises or offline deployment.
